Hi, I’m Michelle—the founder of Empath Exchange.

Empath Exchange was created for women exploring healing, creativity, and personal growth who want something grounded, accessible, and real. You don’t need to travel far, abandon your roots, or have everything figured out to explore new ways of caring for yourself.

My own journey began in 2014 while working at Camp Lutherhaven, where time in nature and intentional community slowed everything down. That experience cracked something open—inviting me to question conventional ways of living and to notice the deeper connections between people, creativity, and the world around us.

In 2017, the loss of a close friend profoundly reshaped my spiritual path. Grief led me into questions I didn’t have language for at the time, and eventually into books, conversations, and practices that expanded my understanding of healing, consciousness, and the unknown. While I was raised within Christian traditions—and still respect the values they gave me—I’ve since explored philosophy, science, holistic medicine, and world religions, each offering new perspectives that continue to inform my worldview.

Over the past decade, I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear, spirituality doesn’t need labels, and creativity is often the bridge that helps us make sense of our inner lives.

Empath Exchange grew out of this lived experience.

It isn’t about having answers—it’s about creating access. I curate and connect women with trusted local practitioners, spiritual resources, and experiences that support healing, creativity, and self-expression, while intentionally holding space for curiosity, reflection, and choice.

As a graphic designer, I also support heart-led businesses and creatives by helping them bring their ideas to life visually—because expression is a powerful form of healing, too.
